Bellatrix at 27 figured she wouldn’t ever find her
fated mate. When her parents choose to move across the country to join a new
pack she decided to go with. When they arrive she finds her fated mate but he
rejects her for not being a virgin. Since she was rejected she is sent to the
reject islands to live out her days.
This book needed more backstory and worldbuilding to
make sense. I don’t know if one of the other books in the series would make a
difference as they are all written by different authors. I did like Bellatrix.
She was strong willed and gave no shits to what others thought about her. She
was determined to live her life to the fullest. I liked the guys she ended up with,
but the murder mystery just seemed weird and out there. I would be interested
in trying again if there was some explanation as to why she had to go to the
island but her fated didn’t. Like because he rejected her he isn’t going to go
nuts but she might. Please explain the thought process. It needs some work.
