Lyric. War is brewing with the Shifters and witches. Lyric’s trying to find
those who will help her make changes but are those she considers allies truly
allies?
This author puts steamy moments in the wrong spots. There
are gaps in the story itself. Overall, don't do what I did and read to find out
how it works out.
Book 2 Pack Mates of Lunar Crest

Bryony is the Princess of Kimmery. She's always been the odd
one in her family as she's never been struck by the hunger. Without the hunger
her grandmother isn't sure who will rule the Kingdom. Her grandmother forces
her to select her chosen this year. She selects a random man she feels a
connection to but refuses to bed them as she won't force them. When she hears to
concoct news from the north and her "chosen" to concoct a plan to
help those in the north and give Bryony a break. Will Bryony get the hunger?
This was an interesting new series. Bryony was a strong lead.
There was good world building and the characters felt developed. It was
interesting to see Bryony come into her magic. She does seem to collect men
which was amusing since she didn't think she had a need for them. It will be interesting
to see where the series goes.
Book 1 Inheritance of Hunger

Kailey has too much anxiety to deal with people she doesn't already know. She would rather spend her day writing code. When Connor (Smitty) Smith hockey super star starts paying attention to her she very much doesn't know how to deal with him. Smitty wants her so bad. He's seen all of his friends find their forever women and that's what he wants and thinks that Kailey is it for him. Now he just need to work with her to handle her anxiety and win her over.
I suffer from anxiety and this book is so relatable. Both Kailey and Smitty have mental health issues they are working through and this is handled really well throughout the story and it's very relatable. I loved these two so much and loved seeing Kailey and Smitty get their happy ending. The only thing that left me hanging and I may have missed it was Smitty called Kailey Little Bird throughout and it was never revealed why he does this. The next book was set up that end of this one. If you are smart, I was not, you will avoid this lovely little scene as OMG I need the next book now and not in August.
Book 4 Breakers Hockey

Kell Luview is done with love. He may live in a town all about love but he wants nothing to do with it. When he runs into an old friend Rachel. He wants nothing to do with her after their falling out in DC but after an embarrassing encounter that gets the town talking he can't get away from her. Will he be able to resist her?
I read the prequal and loved them and was waiting for the conclusion and it did not disappoint. It flowed nicely and you got some very weird characters that made the book amusing. Both characters have struggles they have to deal with to find a way to be together. I liked the journey they take to get their HEA. I can't wait for the next book as it is previewed at the end of this one and it seems to be just as good.
Book 1 Love You, Maine

Werewolves are almost extinct. To help increase the
population they have trials to find the best match for each she-wolf. Lyric never
knew she was a wolf until she's triggered. Now she has to compete in these
games to fill her pack with men to produce babies. She doesn't want to compete
or have babies. With the help of a group of men her dad handpicked they plan to
get around the games and make the life they want.
I really don't know how I finished this book. There was no
world building or character development. You get tons of Lyrics inner dialogue
and it's annoying. It also didn't flow well. The ending was a cliffhanger. Overall,
I have no idea why I read the series.

Knowing she's a bad bet she sets out to help
him find a better pack. When she finds one will she be able
to walk away?
Through most of this book I hated Eve. She really takes a
hot minute to redeem herself. I loved the pack Eve and Adam end up with. All of
them balance each other and by the end I liked Eve. It fit with all of the
other's written by her in this series. I need the next one now as this ends
cliff hanger esq.
Book 6 Sweet Omegaverse

Lyric is an omega refusing to take an alpha. She wants to
keep touring and making music. She puts together a new band for her tour. She
now has to keep her hands to herself. Will she be able too?
I went in with high hopes and just couldn't like this book.
I couldn't get into it and ended up skimming and skipping big parts of the
story. It was really boring and didn't connect with the first three books at
all. I will be skipping Lana Kole's books.
Book 4 Sweet Omegaverse

Lola is being threatened by an old alpha Wanted by the police.
Her men will do whatever they need
to, to keep her safe. When one of her men is taken what is
she willing to do to get him back?
This Book started right where the last ended. I liked how it
all worked out. Lola gets to save the day and protect her men. This is probably
the only time a part two makes sense.
Book 3 Sweet Omegaverse

Lola has spent the last year trying to work past her trauma.
Her cousin thinks she needs to get out and gets her a job at a fashion magazine.
She can't handle being around alphas and she hides it well until she's
surrounded by them. Even though they wouldn't hurt her, she's rescued by
another beta. She's very attracted to him, but he already has a pack and an
omega. She's not sure she wants all that entails,
When a man from her past resurfaces putting her, in danger
the pack steps in. Will the keep her?
I wasn't a huge fan of Lola in book 1. This book redeems
her. She went through a lot in the last book and she's working through it. I
wasn't sure about the part one and two, but it actually makes sense. The issues
with the guy carries over so a bit of a cliff hanger but not. We do have some
of the world explained in this book. Overall, I enjoyed this and need to go and
read part two.
Book 2 Sweet Omegaverse

Madisyn is a loner, and she wants to stay that way. When she’s
in need of touch she will go out for it. She ends up being assaulted with
demands to reveal where a young woman has been hidden. Since she works at a
shelter the Mercury Pack has created, she gets a new bodyguard, Bracken. Bracken
has been dealing with loss and finding forgiveness over the death of his family
when he’s called in to help Madisyn. What he finds is she’s his fated mate
because of the loss of his family he’s not sure he wants a mate but isn’t
willing to risk her. Will he be able to keep her safe?
I wanted to like this more than I did. People change all the
time but this one feels like the author made a 180 with Bracken and changed his
entire being just for a plot point. I didn’t like how he was changed. I did
like these two together and enjoyed the big battle at the end. It was just an
ok book.
Book 4 Mercury Pack

Baby always thought she was a beta until one night with her
friend Lola, all of a sudden, she changes to an omega. Now her hold life
changes. She has to find a pack of Alphas to knot her and keep her happy and
sated. Baby goes against the grain and picks a motorcycle club to mate with.
Now she just has to prove she's there forever if they want her.
This was an interesting story. I feel it needed more world
building. Still have no idea on what the rules
are for this world. Are Shifters know or are they in hiding?
I also was really confused by why Baby was
Still considering Cole when she didn't like him. I also
really really really hated her name. Overall, the
book was ok. It just needed some work.
Book 1 Sweet Omegaverse

Gwen may be human, but she is determined to testify against
a fellow human for assaulting a shifter. The boy’s wealthy family has tried to
bribe her and is now trying to terrify her to keep her from testifying. Zander
is staying at her inn while working out his uncle’s will when Gwen’s inn is
attacked. He decides to stick it out and help her get to the trial. Will they
be able to keep safe?
There are a lot of people in this book to keep track of. We
don’t need to see both packs in every book. I really didn’t like how we went
from Gwen being independent to all in as mate when she had been fighting it
throughout the book. All of this led to me putting the book down regularly. I
did love how Zander and Gwen handled Gwen testifying and the big fight with the
bad guys. Overall, it was a meh book.
Book 3 Mercury Pack

Nötchka is on a run to drop off a part she a Scavenged when
her heat burn kicks in. She doesn't
want to mate with anyone as she's happy with her life so she
goes to the Droid district. She's
low on funds so she strikes a bargain to repair the droids
for help with her heat burn. Will she
make it through her heat burn without being mated.
I enjoyed the story but there is no world building at all.
We start on this world, and we know nothing about how anything runs or what the
rules are. I liked the book and the story just felt things were missing.
Interested in seeing if she makes this a series or a one off

Rada seems like such a peaceful planet but there is a
constant competition for power. There are two main fractions Adlers and Baenas.
They have been fighting to gain the upper hand for generations. After a
catastrophic betrayal brings the heads of each together. Ramona Adler and
Matias Baena must set aside their differences and work together to prevent something
much worse from taking over their planet. As they investigate, they find there
is an attraction between them. Will they act on it?
I loved this book so much. I loved how Ramona and Matias
work together to solve their marital problems. The connections they make whole
tracking their cheating spouses was amazing. The ending was perfect and made me
laugh so hard. Overall, the writing was spot on. Same for the world building.
Here’s hoping for more books in this world.
Book 3 Kinsmen

Harley plans to live her life in the human world as she is
tired of being an outcast in the supernatural world. Until an extremist group
goes after her. When her friend Jesse shows up to protect her, she’s not sure
she should except his help but she will. Will she be able to keep her heart
safe from him?
There were some questions I have like how did Harley become
a cat shifter when her mom was a human and her dad is a wolf. It’s never
explained. I also wanted to know how Jesse could handle being away from his
mate as long as he was. Overall, I enjoyed the story. Dealing with pack
politics plus extremists made for an interesting read. Nothing to bad to not
continue reading the series.
Book 2 Mercury Pack

Mallory is the test pilot to see if earth can create
wormholes like those that took some humans all the way across the galaxy to Kor
Magma. The jump was supposed to just take them across our galaxy but ends up
taking them light years away where the plane crash lands on a mysterious
planet. Zhalto sees a plane crash on his world and thinks it is another plan
from his father. When he finds an earth woman, he will help her track down her
partner. Will they be in time to save Mallory’s friend?
My favorite series is the Galactic Gladiators and this is a
spin off series. I loved both Mallory and Zhalto. The chemistry between hem was
off the chart. Mallory kicking ass and doing what she thinks is best saves the
day. I can’t wait to see where the series goes. I can’t wait to see what
happens in the next one.
Book 1 Galactic Kings

Ally is a wolf Seer. When her boyfriend finds his fated mate
they break up. This isn’t enough for his new mate she decides Ally must go. To
get away from all the drama her adopted brother calls in a favor to get her
into the Mercury Pack. They don’t want a Seer in the pack but since it is
temporary, they are willing. Will Derren let her walk away when it’s time for
her to leave?
I really liked both Ally and Derren. It was amusing to see
Derren struggle with his need for Ally and feeling he shouldn’t have her. I
really wanted Ally’s former alpha to get his due over what happened but that
doesn’t happen. This is a spinoff series, and it may have made more sense if I
had read that one first but noting drastic. The bad guy situation would have
been better understood if I had read the Phoenix Pack but overall, I enjoyed it
and can’t wait to read the next one.
Book 1 Mercury Pack

of Santa. It may have been intended for Santa, but Satan will make all her
dreams come true even if it’s not what she asked for. Satan sends Marduke to
help Mary. Will Satan’s matchmaking workout?
I loved this book. I was amused by Satan pissing off St Nick
by stealing his mail. Satan does his matchmaking bit and that always amuses me.
My biggest issue was Merry was incredible passive and that never really
changes. Overall, it was good addition to the series. You don’t need to have
read the previous books but as always it does help.
Book 11 Welcome to Hell

Morgan inherits her grandmother’s home and when she shows
up, she’s confronted by a very large wolf. She’s sure she’s just going to sell
the place once she gets it ready but the more, she learns from Amar and the
town’s people the less she wants to sell. Amar introduces her to the world of
supernatural and she has a fast-learning curve. Will she figure everything out
before it’s too late?
Buroker’s books have become a hit or miss for me. Some are
very good, and others fall short. This dell somewhere in between. This one was
a lot of world building with hints of a story. That and Morgen made some
horrible decisions throughout this book. It was also incredibly slow getting to
the conclusion of the story. By the end I was invested and need to read on, but
I saw the next ends in a cliff hanger ending with the last book coming in 2022
so I will wait until they’re all out to continue reading.
Book 1 Witch in Wolf Wood

Silent Blade:
Meli is the blade for her family. She’s taken many jobs on
to protect her family, but she is tired and wants to be done. She plans on
staying retired until her family asks her to take on the one man who ruined her
life. Celino was once her fiancé and when he called off the engagement it left
her hanging with no other option then to separate from her family. Will she get
her revenge?
I loved these two. Meli just wanted her happy retirement
until her family asks her to take on the one man who ruined her life. The
fireworks between Meli and Celino was amazing. I loved that Meli got her
revenge and her man.
Silver Shark:
Claire has spent years fighting a war on her home planet
with no escape until the war is settled. Her side has lost and after escaping off
world she must hide her talent. She finds a job and keeping her head down until
someone from her past needs her help and she is discovered. Will she be safe
and happy?
This one made me want more backstory but was good. I loved
seeing Claire and Venturo work together to take down his enemies. I didn’t feel
as connected to them as a couple, but I still enjoyed the story.
A Mere Formality:
Deirdre is apart of a political envoy when she ends up being used as a pawn to
further one group. Will she find her happy ending?
This one disappointed me. It was too short and felt
incomplete. Deirdre ends up forced into marrying Lord Nagrad and it didn’t
quite work for me. Overall enjoyed the whole book but this short story fell
short for me.
