Dr. Samantha Park’s living on and working on the South Pole. This is supposed to be her second year working
there and she was planning on it being just as good as the first year until the
death of her roommate. She is still
trying to come to grips with the loss when three men from Cobra International
Security arrive to find a downed satellite containing military secrets. Thor is planning on a mission that will be in
and out but things go awry almost immediately.
He also can’t get Samantha out of his head. They will need to work together to discover
who brought the satellite down and murdered Samantha’s friend.
I started with this book and absolutely loved it. It was interesting to see how things are
handled at the South Pole. I really
liked Samantha and Thor together. They
were an interesting couple who led lives that were not going to be on the same
continent but by the end it seemed that would work out for them. It was a really fast read and it made me want
to go and read the rest of the series.
