Navy Nurse Avery Nelson knew being deployed to Afghanistan
would be dangerous but she never dreamed she would be taken hostage and held
for weeks. She’s not just going to lay
there and take it. When the SEAL she’s
been flirting with for months shows up she’s never been happier. Cole “Rex” Kingston has wanted Avery since he
met her but didn’t know how to go about asking her out before she shipped
out. When he found out she had been
taken he was willing to move heaven and earth to save her. Even after getting her out of Afghanistan she
still isn’t safe until they find the American soldier who was helping the
terrorist. Heading state side she will
need to confront her fears and PTSD with the help of Rex.
I LOVED this story.
There was a lot of action in the rescue.
Even when they hit the states there was still action. It was also interesting to see how PTSD was
handled with Avery. I found who the bad
guys were and why they did what they did to be interesting. I also loved how Avery did everything she could
to save herself both times she is in danger.
Excellent book.
