Mandy Bettencourt is in dire need of a break from the
public. Her best friend offers up the
family cabin to get out of the media spotlight.
What the friend didn’t know was her brother in law also was in need of
the cabin. Dante Crowne was desperate
for some time away to sort through boxes of legal documents when he finds out
there is a very unwelcome guest. He will
do anything to drive her away while she will do anything he says except leave.
This was an interesting story with overtones of BDSM. There were times the characters were not
always the best people but overall you rooted for them to be successful. I really wanted to see Mandy’s ex get his comeuppance. This is part of a series sort of. There seems to be books for the other Crowne
brothers. I haven’t read them and
enjoyed this book.
