Caite McCallan works for the Department of Defense in
Bahrain. A glitch with the elevator
leads to an invitation to dinner with Navy SEAL Rocco. He misses there dinner and she believes he
blew her off until she over hears a conversation that indicates he and some of
the other SEALs are in danger. Caite
puts her life in danger to go and make sure they are safe. Rocco is shocked when he and his team are
rescued by the shy woman who he was interested in. When the people who captured the SEALs turn
their sights on Caite she turns to Rocco for help.
I really enjoyed this story.
The pacing was spot on. Loved the
fact that Caite rescues the SEALs and is hesitant to accept help from them in
return when she is in danger because of the help. It was interesting to seeing the older SEALs
working with the younger ones. I also
adored the ending of this book. Can’t
wait to see where this series goes.
