The King: A Wicked Novella by [Jennifer L. Armentrout]

Now that Caden is stepping up and taking over the light court they can’t get closer.  He is expected to marry another Fae.  The problem is he still loves her and wants to keep her and keep her safe.  Brighton is devastated by the news that Caden is betrothed.  She is determined to continue her quest and forget Caden.  Her quest goes a little to well and is kidnapped by the big bad.  Caden will have to do everything to try and find her before he’s too late.

OMG, I loved this story.  It made me so sad and mad and happy.  When I originally read this book there was a whole year until the next book was coming out.  It is now out, and I can finally enjoy all of them.  I loved that Brighton rescues herself ish.  Caden does come and get her out of her cell but she killed that big bad.  I loved how Caden and everyone close to her try to treat her with kids gloves after her rescue.  The book didn’t seem that long, but it is actually just short of 200 pages.  Can’t wait to read the next book.

Book 3.2 Wicked
