Justice For Landee by Deanndra Hall

3 Stars

Landee has worked hard to get to where she’s at.  Single mom to a seven-year-old she’s trying to run her own business picking up dog poop for a living.  What she’s tired of is having her business looked down on.  When she ran into firefighter Zyan and he cracked a joke about her business she wasn’t going to put up with it.  Zyan just thought he was being cute and didn’t mean to piss Landee off, so he is determined to right the wrong.  What he gets is way more than he planned on.

This is part of the Operation Alpha world written by Susan Stoker.  I love Susan Stoker so I am always willing to read books in her world.  This one was ok.  It had some pacing issues.  There wasn’t a lot going on until about the end other than the romance.  I am also unsure how long between meeting and moving in happened as it isn’t really explained.  Landee was a bit frustrating at times because she had a chip on her shoulder.  The big bad situation was something that could have been avoided too.  Overall, it was an ok book that just wasn’t quite my cup of tea.
