Marked in Flesh by Anne Bishop

Marked In Flesh (A Novel of the Others Book 4) by [Anne Bishop]

5 Stars

The Humans First and Last Movement continues to make trouble for all those who don’t support them.  They have small skirmishes to try and force the none supporters to join.  While Meg and Simon are just trying to live their lives.  Meg and the other cassandra sangue know something bad is coming from the HFL but aren’t sure when.  They will try to stop it at all costs, but they may not be able to.  What will happen when the HFL goes too far and it’s no longer the courtyard citizens who are doling out the punishments but the elders?

Loved this story so much.  You get to learn more about the cops who are helping the Lakeside Courtyard.  Montgomery’s family is in this book and it was interesting to see the difference between him and his sister.  You also got to see how some family threw their kids away because they were supporting the others.  The story also progressed with the Humans First and Last Movement as well as the relationship between Meg and Simon.  I am looking forward to where the next book is going to be going.

Alexandra Harris does an amazing job with this book.  Even with the new characters she still manages to bring personality to each character.  She is a narrator I would like to see do more.
