Mallory is a house stager.
Looking for work she answers a Craigslist ad for a professional fluffer. Thinking they wanted her to stage the house
for a shoot she shows up to find that it is actually a porno and they expect
her to do something entirely different. Another
thing she didn’t know was they were using house they weren’t supposed to be
which leads her to run into an old nemesis from high school. Will gets her out of being arrested. He offers her a legitimate job and then
starts to woo her.
There were parts of this book that were really funny and
good but there were just a few too many parts that didn’t work for me. Mallory was supposed to be a very strong
female character but she comes across as sweet and simple woman. Now there isn’t anything wrong with that but that
wasn’t how she was described. Will was
also supposed to be all about her and there was a scene towards the end of the
book where he disregards her feelings and it didn’t ring true to how he was
portrayed in the book. It seemed like a
manufactured problem that needed to be overcome. Overall the book was funny and I would
re-read it so it’s worth a read.
