Jessie wasn’t upset when her husband wanted a divorce. She was ready to move on anyways. She tried moving in with her parents but that
wasn’t going to work. Jessie decides to go
east and live in centuries old house of her relative. The house has always drawn her and she wants
a fresh start. The house and her life
are so much more than she thought it would be.
I liked this book a lot.
There were some issues like making it seem like 40 is old. At one point jumping would hurt her knees. Maybe it would but not every 40 year old
would have that problem. There was also
a pacing issue. Way too much time went
into describing Austin’s muscles and not enough on the plot of the story. The book was funny and I liked where it was
going so I will be picking up the next book in the series and I hope there is
less emphasis on the age thing.
