Lincoln Sheppard thought he left the war behind but things
change when he gets a new neighbor. Eden
Brenner wanted a place to call her own after an unstable childhood. When she moves in just down the street from
Lincoln she’s smitten. She wants him but
will lies tear them apart?
He was lying to her pretty much from the beginning and then
couldn’t understand why she was upset and didn’t want to see him. Really you would be good if the only reason
someone was with you to begin with was for their job. There was also the issue over the fact that he
wasn’t really interested in her until she changed most of the things about
herself. She had to change her wardrobe
as well as lose weight so he wasn’t really interested in her. If she had to dress sexier and lose weight so
she was smaller than a size 12 what happens if/when she gains weight will he no
longer love her? Above and beyond Linc
being shallow was the fact that Eden was supposed to be 32 but acted 16. It got old very fast. The story was also really predictable. Nothing was surprising. This is literally how the book goes and it gives
away the end of the climax of the story.
