After surviving a traumatic event Katie is ready to live.
She’s been a good girl her whole life and now she is looking for adventure. She
ends up in a mountain town called Wishful filling in for a bookkeeper. This
will give her a chance to adventure around work. There she meets Cam who wants
her but doesn’t want her. Will they find away to get their HEA?
I really liked Katie and Cam. They are both working through
trauma. The back and forth with them was fun to read and I liked how cam is an
idiot. He makes it up to her in a really good way. You get all the feels with
this book. Was well worth the read.
Audio: 5 Star
Liisa Ivory narrates the story and she does a good job with
giving each character their own voice. I would definitely listen to another
book narrated by her.
