Ester is on the verge of losing her position as a maid for
her ill reputation. She finds a position that is perfect for her at the Rookgrave
Manor where she will seduce men of different natures. She’s not sure it’s the
right fit for her as she is a bit too wicked. Things are working out well for
her and her men but the protections on the house are failing and this puts them
all at risk. Will they discover what’s causing the problems?
This was a very interesting historical romance with more
than a splash of erotica. I loved how open Esther was and her need to please
her men. There was a lot of sex but also a story that went with it. I enjoyed
all the supernaturals and that they are all look for love. The biggest issue I
had was the lack of world building. You eventually get an understanding but
it’s much further in the book then it should be. The other bad – the next book
doesn’t come out until next year.
