Nix knew her family didn’t want her, but she never thought
they would try and sacrifice her to the gods, but they did. When it didn’t work,
and she survived she ends up on the run from her pack. She ends up with the
broken alphas. Most of them want to mate her and claim her as theirs except
one. When he rejects her all of her new powers can’t protect her from the pain
of the loss of the connection. Will she survive the rejection and her family?
I wanted to give this a higher rating. It should have been
better. I liked the world building and the characters. Each of Nix’s mates are
different and bring something to the relationship. Two things that bother me –
one how do all these people keep finding them? It is never explained how, and
she ran long and far so how did they find her so quickly. Two – cliff hanger ending,
and the next book doesn’t come out until mid-year, so you don’t complete the
story and make me wait forever for the conclusion. I’ll try to remember to look
this up in a couple months but if not… meh.
