Dommik is a monster, and he doesn’t want or need anyone. He’s
part of an elite team that has dealt with the worst of the worst in the galaxy.
When his employer demands he bring on an assistant he drags his feet finding
someone. Katalina has faced death and now she wants to live. When she ends up
on the spaceport looking for an adventure, she finds Dommik. He doesn’t want
her but she’s not taking no. Will she be able to change his mind about having
her around?
This was an interesting book. I enjoyed the world building
in this book. It’s also a new take on shifters. Dommik isn’t the standard hot
shifter. He’s a cyborg shifter and he changes into a spider which I’ve never
seen before. I liked the struggle both Kat and Dommik were having. Dommik
didn’t want to be with Kat and then he does and then not get old. Overall, I’m
willing to check out the next one.
