Axel is waiting for his chance at the big leagues. Until
then he is stuck in the minors, in a small town, with not a lot to do. When he
and his teammates tear up the local bar one too many times the mayor Billie
Rose, decides enough is enough and takes matters into her own hands. She handcuffs
him to the railing of her niece’s house. Bailey loves her ranch but is tired of
struggling to make everything running. When she wakes up to a naked man
handcuffed to her railing. She doesn’t have time for this but gets him out and
lets him call for a ride. Thinking that will be the last of it until the next
morning when he shows up again in the same state. The more time Axel spends
with Bailey the more he wants to be better. He wants to give her the world but
when he gets called up to the majors to work with the Gold will this change their
new romance.
I absolutely adore this
book. It flowed nicely. The characters were awesome. I loved Bailey's aunt and
I want her to get her own story. Bailey and Axel had their own issues they're
working through. It would have been a 5 star for me, but I hate cliffhanger
endings. Now to wait impatiently for the next two parts so I can find out how Bailey
and Axel get their happy ending.
