Theo, Carter, Finn, and Mateo reign the school and expect
everyone to toe the line at Casbury Prep. When a new girl, Mia starts they
expect her too as well. What they don’t know is she’s out for revenge and to
take them all down for what they did to her family.
This book was incredibly slow. It just kind of plods
along. I still don’t understand why MFC forgave the guys as they never do
anything to get her forgiveness. You as the reader find out some of the things
that they have gone through at the hands of their families. That does make me
have empathy for them but not enough to forgive them. The book finally starts
to pick up in pace in the last couple of chapters when it ends in a cliffhanger
ending. The idea was good, but the implementation was not so good.
