3 Star
Frankie loves her friends and will do anything for them,
even if it makes her struggle to make ends meet. She’s the maid of honor for
her BFF and she will make sure everything goes off without a hitch even if the
best man is a dick. Aiden made the worst first impression and keeps trying to
make it up to Frankie. When the groom is kidnapped before the wedding, they
will have to work together to find him and get him to the alter on time. After
a night together Frankie disappears on him, and he’s determined to find her and
win her over. Will he get what he wants?
Frankie irritated me throughout the book. She’s poor
compared to her friends but won’t let them help her even though it is for their
wedding and the costs are for the wedding. Aiden is a dick. Yes, you’re a
billionaire who has been burned in the past so now everyone is out for his
money. He quickly redeems himself, but Frankie doesn’t. She continues to keep
him at a distance and then makes a huge deal over something she knows is false,
but it gives her an out. She eventually makes up with Aiden but meh. Overall, I
wouldn’t read it again.
