Dante is tired of his life, and he wants a mate. He decides
to follow his cousins’ idea and buy one at market. When he gets there, he finds
Kaja. No one can tame her, and they are talking about putting her down since
they can’t match her with anyone. He takes a liking to her and wins her trust. When
he brings her home everyone is leery of the match and thinks Dante has taken
her to clean up his image and he will get rid of her later. That may have been
the plan but what happens if he falls for her?
We met Dante in the last book, and I really wanted him to
find his happy. I loved Kaja for him. She kept him on his toes. She is strong
and weird, and I loved them together. I liked the fact that he started out
planning on saving her and then letting her go to never wanting to let her go.
This book fit well with the first one and continued the overarching story
nicely. There is one more to go and I can’t wait to see how the story
concludes.
