Ambrosia finally has her dream job when her worst enemy buys
the company she works for. Chase thought she was just the girl that got away
and doesn’t understand where her anger is coming from. Will they find a way to
work together to keep the company running?
I didn’t like either Ambrosia or Chase. Ambrosia gets
screwed over in high school and I understand why she hates Chase, but she
doesn’t really explain anything to him. In high school Chase also never thought
to check on his girl to make sure she was ok. I get that he had shit go down
but he just kind of abandons her. He was also best friends with her brothers
and that kind of was ignored. I finished the book but don’t plan on continuing
the series.
