The old king is dead, and a new king or queen will need to
fight it out to find out who is on top.
For Keeley the blacksmith she didn’t care about the siblings waring
until it looked like her younger sister Beatrix would be dragged into the
war. She won’t have to fight alone as
warrior group, Amichai, are stepping up to help her protect her family.
This one was a bit of a disappointment as it is similar in
some of her other books. There was a lot
of potential to this story, but it was never fleshed out. There was also some character development
issues. Keeley felt like a gentler version
of Annwyl and Caid was like Feargus but not as complex. It felt like there wasn’t a lot of time spent
on developing Caid and Keely. The other
issue was that it ended very abruptly. Overall,
I am interested in seeing where this series is going.
