Mission: Planet Biter by Laurann Dohner

3.5 Star

Roth and the rest of his grouping answer a destress call on a remote planet.  When they arrive, they find almost everyone dead, only one survivor.  Vera Wade attaches herself to Roth and won’t let go.  She’s been exposed to a drug and they’re not sure how to flush her system of it or if it will be better to wait it out.  Through the whole process she doesn’t want Roth to leave her.  He is the one thing real to her and she needs it.  When she is finally drug free they have to figure out who sabotage the facility and why.

Overall, this was an interesting story.  There were some very good parts to the story and some not so good parts.  I was really digging the story of this book until they had sex.  At that point of the book it felt forced and rushed.  Prior to that the story was moving nicely.  There was an interesting plot and I wanted to see how it played out.  Once the sex happened it was as if the mating was the only storyline and the sabotage was an afterthought.  Overall, not one of my favorite books by Laurann Dohner.

Book 4 Veslor Mates
