Forrest clings to her humanity, trapped in her wolf,
and abused by those who should be taking care of her. She is ready to give up
on everything when she is able to shift into her human self and brings to light
the abuse she’s suffered. When her long forgotten brother finds out about the
abuse he whisks her away to another prison. People are out to get her and she’s
not sure how to solve all the problems. Will finding her mate help keep her
safe or will he fail her like everyone else?
This was a surprisingly good read. It is a very slow
burn fade to black story, and I enjoyed it a ton. I loved the FMC and how much
she wanted to kick butt. It flowed nicely and it was an interesting book. It
was different from other ones I’ve read that are similar. I still want to know
what happened to her brother. He was the biggest dick through this entire book,
and I want karma to get him so badly. Give this one a chance.
