Mackenzie Arden has been tortured by her brother her
entire life. She figures she will never be out from under him until she’s
rescued by Luca “Bear” Jackson. He wants to take her half-brother down and is
willing to protect Mackenzie to get what he wants. When feelings come into play
will Bear be able to keep Mackenzie safe?
WTF did I just read. From the time they meet to in
love is like 4 days. They were also TSTL. She’s kidnapped from her home so
after being rescued she goes home without bodyguards. Even after another
kidnapping attempt they stay in the house. Once the house is blown up geniuses decide
to go to Bear’s home. Not only does this put others at risk but it’s not like Mackenzie
half-brother doesn’t know who’s with her so doesn’t take a genius to figure out
where they would go. When this house also explodes, they go to the next town
over to stay at a hotel. Where Mackenzie is kidnapped from. It just overall
rubbed me the wrong way and I don’t care about the other books.
