I don’t know if it was because the last Pippa Grant book was so good but this was MEH. It felt like things were left out that needed to be in there. Like the accident and the divorce. I also wanted to see more connection between Ellie and Wyatt. It was not one of my favorites.

Leo is not ready for the wide world, but he loves talking with Hannah in his games. He never thought he would see her in real life until she showed up at his family’s business for an event. He’s too scared to introduce himself to her but then she goes dark in the game. Scared for her he tracks her down to find her in the hospital. He overcomes his fears to come to his rescue but will he be able to keep his fears gone when life interferes?

This was a good book to read if you like characters who are struggling with mental health issues and stalkers. Leo was someone who you are just rooting for to win and the same goes for Hannah. She has so much strength and compassion. The ending was a bit rushed but I loved seeing the bad guys getting caught and Leo and Hannah getting past their trauma to a happy ending.

WTF did I just read. From the time they meet to in love is like 4 days. They were also TSTL. She’s kidnapped from her home so after being rescued she goes home without bodyguards. Even after another kidnapping attempt they stay in the house. Once the house is blown up geniuses decide to go to Bear’s home. Not only does this put others at risk but it’s not like Mackenzie half-brother doesn’t know who’s with her so doesn’t take a genius to figure out where they would go. When this house also explodes, they go to the next town over to stay at a hotel. Where Mackenzie is kidnapped from. It just overall rubbed me the wrong way and I don’t care about the other books.
