Defiance has woken from a six-month coma after overusing her
magic and shocking secret being revealed. There are more secrets to come and
more evil needing to be vanquished with her friends and family.
There’s not a lot of growth from the last book through this
book. The back and forth between Defiance and her BFF made them seem a lot
younger than they are. Overall, I liked the first but not so much this one.
Still good enough to read the next one but slowly losing interest.
