Eloise is refusing to settle down with a pack because of a promise she made to a boy she loved. This leads her to be the oldest omega at the San Francisco Academy of Omegas. She is sent to pack Russo even though they are very anti omega. Neither she nor the pack are given a choice but to live together.

Something about this book just didn’t meld for me. I can’t even put my finger on what the problem was. I just know I was bored while reading this book. I wanted to like it as it has everything I like in a book it just didn’t hit the right notes for me and then it ended on a cliff hanger…pass

Most omegas can’t wait to become pregnant but that is not what I want. I didn’t ask for this man to take something that wasn’t for him but he has all the power and I have none. He then bribes my parents into kicking me out leaving me with very limited options. My brother calls on his friend to take me in until I can figure out what I can and should be doing. Not everyone in the pack is happy to take me in but I promise to be gone as soon as possible but will they want her to leave?

Fair warning the story starts with Briar seeing a doctor after she was raped. It was off page but she has trauma from this SA that is dealt with throughout the book. This was a good take for an omegaverse story and I enjoyed how it all played out. I would love to see another book in this world to see if things change with the center Briar is supposed to use since she is packless. If you like omegaverse stories this is one of the better ones.

Love You Now by Julia Kent

Ana needs a cleanse from a bad break up. While staying at a hotel for a conference she meets a man who just might be what she needs. Dennis Luview is trying to figure out what to do with his life out of the military. He meets a woman in a dumpster trying to save a kitten and she's just what he needs. She thinks it's just for one night and he's sure it is more than that. When life throws them some curve balls will they find a way to be together?  

This is one of the best books in the series. I loved Ana and Dennis. Ana is a strong female main character who has her own issues but is so good with Dennis and his issues. I saw some of the twists and turns that were thrown into the book. Them finding there way to a HEA was an awesome journey to read. It was a sweet romance with some sad parts but it was all a journey and worth reading.

Hunted by Them by Jo Savages

Freya was chosen and betrayed by all those around her. She’s starting over but there are still people after her. When she finds Hunter and Wolf her fated mates will they be able to keep her safe?

I was enjoying this story until the twist at the end. It went from a story I understood to a book that I was incredibly frustrated with. Without spoiling the ending the plot twist came out of left field and turned the book entirely around. Then the book just kind of ends without any elaborations and it left too many questions unanswered. The writing was good, and I enjoyed it so I will pick up another book by this author and see if something else will hit better.

A Borrowed Boyfriend by A.R. Casella

I’m internet famous because I was left at the altar. My friends want me to be happy and sign me up with the Fairy Godmother Agency. It is run by a husband/wife team who will work on fixing my whole life. They set out to make my ex jealous with a fake boyfriend. Griffin is very convincing as my boyfriend and I’m not sure I want it to be fake. Griffin loves spending time with Marnie where it’s less like pretending and more like falling in love. Will they find there HEA?

I really enjoyed this very lighthearted romance. Marnie deserves her HEA after her ex being a jackass. The book was full of well-developed characters not just the main characters. There were no major holes or errors. Just really good book.

The Resurrected Queen by Jayce Carter

There is only one more person to take out for my revenge to be complete. My father is the last one I need gone. However, he’s forcing my sister to marry for an alliance and I need him gone before I can’t save her.

The conclusion of Nem and the Quad was worth the read. The first book was super spicy but this one was not so much. It was a lot of machination for Nem and her men trying to take out Nem’s dad. It slowed the book down a bit. There were also a couple of places Nem was borderline too stupid to live. Overall, it was a good book and it kept me interested and was worth the read.

A group of men murdered my mother and left me for dead. Now ten years later I am out for revenge. I’ve changed everything about me and I will do anything to kill my father. This means taking of the The Quad, four of the most dangerous men and at one point I was in love with them. Will I be getting my revenge or will they figure me out and prevent me from my revenge.

This was a very dark romance. They very much are enemies to lovers with very very dark tropes. It hit all the right notes for me. It is a duet and you will have to read the next one to get the conclusion (review coming tomorrow for the conclusion).
