I wanted to like this more than I did. It was the first in this series for not true mates to get together Mila knows and interacts with her true mate, but they don't have the mating urge oft talked about. It was confusing why this was pushed in all other books but was ignored in this book. Suzann Wright does do a nice wrap up at the end. Overall, I enjoyed the series.

Her father allegedly killed his mate and then himself. They kept her from his family but her paternal grandma was dying and wanted to see her, Frankie doesn't remember the part of her past, but she's interested in meeting them. Trick is interested in her helping her remember and claiming her. Will she figure out what happened to her parents?

I liked Trick and Frankie but felt like I needed more in the end with those who were responsible for her parents’ death. Plus, her grandparents really Suck and never really make up for it. It fit in with the rest of the series and worked.

When people are attacked it brings back the suspicions from before that Riley is involved. Will they figure out who’s been doing the Shooting before it's too late?

I think Riley is my favorite. It was interesting to see them away from the pack and a different kind of shifter. I loved how Riley and Tao were with the kids. The only big issue I had was at the end there was no follow up with the flock.

I enjoyed this one. Makeena and Ryan actually knew they were mates so that was different. She refused for so long until accepting. I loved Seeing them all come together to solve the problems at the shelter. Good addition to the series

When they are forced to work together to track down the people behind a shifter fighting website will they be able to ignore their attraction? Will Marcus be able to break through Roni's defenses?

I liked Roni and Marcus most of the other characters not so much. Nick's the older brother and knows what happens when you ignore mating but actively tries to keep these two apart. Day of their ceremony Nick gets him so drunk their night is ruined. Basically, told what do you were there to it's his baby sister.' Have some respect for her that's what I expect. Don't get me started on their mom Cathy who I would have booted from my life years ago. Ultimately good book but hate all the Secondary characters.

I was a bit bored with this book. Partly because I had read the Mercury Pack series already but also because this book was slow. Nick pissed me off as he still wasn't honest with Shaya and then got mad with her for not rusting him. When all the secrets came out, I wanted to head slap Nick for being so stupid. Overall, this one probably leans more towards 3.5 stars but still interesting

Dante is used to the flirting from Jamie and when it stops, he's concerned. When he finds out what her secret is will he be able to help her?

I liked these two. The story flowed nicely, and we didn't need any world building. Her big bad secret was nice but the way the pack reacted was ridiculous. Everyone but her brother, Taryn, and Dante hit my list of shitty friends. I Loved how the book ends. Good addition to the series.

Since she works at a shelter the Mercury Pack has created, she gets a new bodyguard, Bracken. Bracken has been dealing with loss and finding forgiveness over the death of his family when he’s called in to help Madisyn. What he finds is she’s his fated mate because of the loss of his family he’s not sure he wants a mate but isn’t willing to risk her. Will he be able to keep her safe?

I wanted to like this more than I did. People change all the time but this one feels like the author made a 180 with Bracken and changed his entire being just for a plot point. I didn’t like how he was changed. I did like these two together and enjoyed the big battle at the end. It was just an ok book.

The boy’s wealthy family has tried to bribe her and is now trying to terrify her to keep her from testifying. Zander is staying at her inn while working out his uncle’s will when Gwen’s inn is attacked. He decides to stick it out and help her get to the trial. Will they be able to keep safe?

There are a lot of people in this book to keep track of. We don’t need to see both packs in every book. I really didn’t like how we went from Gwen being independent to all in as mate when she had been fighting it throughout the book. All of this led to me putting the book down regularly. I did love how Zander and Gwen handled Gwen testifying and the big fight with the bad guys. Overall, it was a meh book.

Harley plans to live her life in the human world as she is tired of being an outcast in the supernatural world. Until an extremist group goes after her. When her friend Jesse shows up to protect her, she’s not sure she should except his help but she will. Will she be able to keep her heart safe from him?

There were some questions I have like how did Harley become a cat shifter when her mom was a human and her dad is a wolf. It’s never explained. I also wanted to know how Jesse could handle being away from his mate as long as he was. Overall, I enjoyed the story. Dealing with pack politics plus extremists made for an interesting read. Nothing to bad to not continue reading the series.

To get away from all the drama her adopted brother calls in a favor to get her into the Mercury Pack. They don’t want a Seer in the pack but since it is temporary, they are willing. Will Derren let her walk away when it’s time for her to leave?

I really liked both Ally and Derren. It was amusing to see Derren struggle with his need for Ally and feeling he shouldn’t have her. I really wanted Ally’s former alpha to get his due over what happened but that doesn’t happen. This is a spinoff series, and it may have made more sense if I had read that one first but noting drastic. The bad guy situation would have been better understood if I had read the Phoenix Pack but overall, I enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next one.

Trey asks her to mate him to help him with an issue with his former pack. He's the lesser of two evils. So she agrees. Will they be able to work together and resolve all of their problems?

I enjoyed this one. I liked Taryn more than Trey. He was to much in his own head to not be a major dick. Once somethings are revealed things between Trey and Taryn Smooth out. It did make the other series easier to understand. Good first book.
