Breanne Gallagher had spent her years in foster care. She’s
now stable living with one of her foster sisters when the worst thing happens.
A hellish creature breaks into their apartment assaulting her and killing her
sister. To help heal from her wounds she leaves her beloved home and travels to
a tiny wilderness town that is the only clue to where she came from. She rents
a cabin from Zeb and Shay who are managing the campground until they can hunt
down all the hellhounds. Bree is trying to heal and learn how to take care of
herself when she saves a little girl from a hellhound and changes her world
forever. How will she handle this new world?
This one was a good one to read but there were some very
hard parts to the story. Just like with the first one the sups don’t take into account
Bree was raised humans and was a rape survivor. When the first full moon hits
they try and treat her like everyone else. I did enjoy all three of the mates.
They were all damaged in some way and were healed by being together. I really
loved how the book ended and can’t wait for the next one.
