Maisey Parker is celebrating her 21st birthday on
the beach with her friends when she is double dared to climb a cliff. She
accidentally offers a blood sacrifice on her climb and releases Cronus from his
jail cell. He has a grudge against the Greek Gods and since Maisey is not
allowed far from him she is dragged along with his revenge hunt. Cronus needs
to resurrect the other Titans to help him take out the Greek Gods.
This was an interesting take on the Titans/Greek Gods. Maisey
frustrated me throughout most of this book. She is very shallow through about
half of this book. I enjoyed the journey Maisey and Cronus take and once Maisey
stopped whining the book got better. The book ends on a sort of cliff hanger
esq ending where Cronus abandons Maisey and she ends up back at home. Luckily
the series was out otherwise I would have been so mad.
