Books to the ceiling, Books to the sky, My pile of books is a mile high. How I love them! How I need them! I'll have a long beard by the time I read them.
- Arnold Lobel
Mia works for Goldstone INC as a data analysis and market
trends. Her team works alone but still has to answer to Goldstone INC’s CEO
Thomas Goldstone. He’s driven, arrogant, and controlling. He’s all business
until he meets Mia. When some discrepancies turn up will their relationship
survive?
This book was so slow and tedious. I found myself skimming
the book to try and find something interesting. I like Mia and her weirdness
but hated Thomas. He cared more about his business then Mia and it took him a
while to get there. I just don’t see them working out long term as they are too
different. This book needed more world building. Overall, MEH save yourself
time and avoid.
Jade isn't sure what she's going to do. She's been kidnapped by aliens and dropped on a random island where she's now expected to mate with someone on their island never to head home again. She meets several men and non work for her until she meets the stoic Theo. Theo is scarred per his people's beliefs and he's sure this choosing isn't going to be any different then the last with him being rejected. When he is selected he's sure it is some kind of set up and is determined to discover what Jade is up to. Will they find their happily ever after?
I enjoyed this one. I like space romances and this ticked all the boxes for me. I loved the miscommunications between Jade and Theo. When Theo gets his comeuppance I laughed. He tried to use his dog to get rid of her and is shocked when she loves the dog. Overall, it was a good start to a series and I can't wait to read the rest of them.
Raven didn’t know she had magic until she killed two men
with fire who were trying to assault her. She’s given the choice to go to the
special academy or go to magic prison. She chooses to head to school with hopes
to figure out what is going on with her. While at school she attracts the
attention of the four most eligible men. They all want to help her for their
own reasons. Will she have to pick which man she ends up with?
I enjoyed the story for the most part. I didn’t like the I
have to have you oh wait this stuff behind the scenes say no so I am going to
withdraw my friendship from you to appease people. All without actually telling
her any of this. Looking at you Ben the shapeshifter. Luka was an interesting
take on Incubus with his ability to drop into her dreams. I also really liked
the twins Matt and Zach. Overall, I enjoyed the story enough to continue with
the series to see how it will all play out.
Lola is about to be able to leave her town for good. Never
able to shift and abused by all including her potential mate she just wants
out. The night she's able to leave her fated mate attacks her and leaves her
for dead. She is able to get away and ends up with the rogues. Will She find
her place with them, or will her birth pack find her?
I enjoyed this book up to the end when it ended on a
cliffhanger. I can see why the twist at the end happened, but it did frustrate
me. We will see how the next book works out.

Grace comes from a family of magic, and everyone wants to
marry her for her connections. All she wants is to find someone who will love
her for her and not care about her familial connection. Elliot, Boderick, and
Alasdair are looking for someone to round out their family and Grace is that
person. The problem she was only planning on one spouse and not sharing. When
she finds out the truth will she accept?
I enjoyed this story. It wasn’t the best nor the worst book.
I enjoyed the three gargoyles a lot and they each had their own personality
that meshed well. I had more problems with Grace. She was a bit whiney and was
a bit of a downer. Overall, it was an interesting story and I enjoyed it.
Lyric and her pack are thriving. When one of their kids’ spells
goes awry will they be able to fix it?
What was the point of this book? We get a future glimpse of
the pack and that's about it. It doesn't add to the series. It should have been
an epilogue on the last book.
