Raven and her men survived the trials but now there is a new enemy that escaped from the Fae Realm. This fae wants something that Raven has, and she has to willingly give it to him. She will need to survive his attacks as well as doing the trials over again as the school board nullified those results.

This is a good conclusion to the series. I was a little irritated by Raven towards the end of this one because she was assuming her men were all going to leave her. Didn’t talk it over with them just assumed. Overall, if you like academy books this is a pretty good one to read and I enjoyed the series.

Raven’s magic has come back, the Time Thief has been destroyed so life should be easier for Raven but they’re not. She now has to prepare for the trials. The school is changing how they are done this year. Instead of attempting them on their own they are now placed in groups. Raven is matched with Ben, Matt, Zach, and Luka. They will have to work together to survive the trials.

There is a huge OMG in this book that I sort of saw coming but it was still interesting to get to it. I loved that things were revealed in this book and still left some questions for the last book. I enjoyed the growth of the relationships between Raven and her men. Overall, it was a good addition to the series, and I enjoyed it but cliffhanger esq ending.

Raven’s magic has disappeared because of the Time Thief, and she will do anything to bring it back including working with the weird teacher and getting closer to Matt and Zach. Even if she gets her magic back, she still can’t use it as that will lead to her going to prison. Which is the worse outcome?

This continued where book one ended and was right on par with the first one. The story moved nicely but ends on a cliffhanger esq ending which makes for a very long night of reading so I can see where things end up. Be warned.

Raven didn’t know she had magic until she killed two men with fire who were trying to assault her. She’s given the choice to go to the special academy or go to magic prison. She chooses to head to school with hopes to figure out what is going on with her. While at school she attracts the attention of the four most eligible men. They all want to help her for their own reasons. Will she have to pick which man she ends up with?

I enjoyed the story for the most part. I didn’t like the I have to have you oh wait this stuff behind the scenes say no so I am going to withdraw my friendship from you to appease people. All without actually telling her any of this. Looking at you Ben the shapeshifter. Luka was an interesting take on Incubus with his ability to drop into her dreams. I also really liked the twins Matt and Zach. Overall, I enjoyed the story enough to continue with the series to see how it will all play out.
