Luka is sent in to find out about any secret labs being used
for researching the fertility issues his people is having. Instead of finding
them and getting out he’s captured and forced to participate in them. Alice is
coerced into pleasing Luka until they can escape. When they finally get out
Luka still wants Alice but thinks she doesn’t want him and is traumatized but
she’s his chosen mate. Will he find a way into her heart?
Where I liked the first book in the series, I hated this one
soooo much. Alice was just horrible. She never once stopped to think about the
fact that she was on another planet with different rules and behaviors. Maybe
just maybe the reason Luka was acting the way he was that offended her so much
was the norm on the planet. She kept him waiting and waiting and just made him
so miserable because he was trying to please her even if it went against
everything he knew. I will still try out the next one but this one will not be
revisited ever.
