magical powers, a ragtag group of allies, and our desperate hope for a future

This book wraps up the series nicely. It was
interesting to see how it all plays out. I liked the characters for the most
part. There was a bit too much whining from FMC and one of the guys was too
headstrong for his own good. With the four books combined and cut down as all
of them dragged at times. It was still a good story but it just needed
something.
