Lyric. War is brewing with the Shifters and witches. Lyric’s trying to find
those who will help her make changes but are those she considers allies truly
allies?
This author puts steamy moments in the wrong spots. There
are gaps in the story itself. Overall, don't do what I did and read to find out
how it works out.
Book 2 Pack Mates of Lunar Crest

Bryony is the Princess of Kimmery. She's always been the odd
one in her family as she's never been struck by the hunger. Without the hunger
her grandmother isn't sure who will rule the Kingdom. Her grandmother forces
her to select her chosen this year. She selects a random man she feels a
connection to but refuses to bed them as she won't force them. When she hears to
concoct news from the north and her "chosen" to concoct a plan to
help those in the north and give Bryony a break. Will Bryony get the hunger?
This was an interesting new series. Bryony was a strong lead.
There was good world building and the characters felt developed. It was
interesting to see Bryony come into her magic. She does seem to collect men
which was amusing since she didn't think she had a need for them. It will be interesting
to see where the series goes.
Book 1 Inheritance of Hunger

Kailey has too much anxiety to deal with people she doesn't already know. She would rather spend her day writing code. When Connor (Smitty) Smith hockey super star starts paying attention to her she very much doesn't know how to deal with him. Smitty wants her so bad. He's seen all of his friends find their forever women and that's what he wants and thinks that Kailey is it for him. Now he just need to work with her to handle her anxiety and win her over.
I suffer from anxiety and this book is so relatable. Both Kailey and Smitty have mental health issues they are working through and this is handled really well throughout the story and it's very relatable. I loved these two so much and loved seeing Kailey and Smitty get their happy ending. The only thing that left me hanging and I may have missed it was Smitty called Kailey Little Bird throughout and it was never revealed why he does this. The next book was set up that end of this one. If you are smart, I was not, you will avoid this lovely little scene as OMG I need the next book now and not in August.
Book 4 Breakers Hockey

Kell Luview is done with love. He may live in a town all about love but he wants nothing to do with it. When he runs into an old friend Rachel. He wants nothing to do with her after their falling out in DC but after an embarrassing encounter that gets the town talking he can't get away from her. Will he be able to resist her?
I read the prequal and loved them and was waiting for the conclusion and it did not disappoint. It flowed nicely and you got some very weird characters that made the book amusing. Both characters have struggles they have to deal with to find a way to be together. I liked the journey they take to get their HEA. I can't wait for the next book as it is previewed at the end of this one and it seems to be just as good.
Book 1 Love You, Maine

Werewolves are almost extinct. To help increase the
population they have trials to find the best match for each she-wolf. Lyric never
knew she was a wolf until she's triggered. Now she has to compete in these
games to fill her pack with men to produce babies. She doesn't want to compete
or have babies. With the help of a group of men her dad handpicked they plan to
get around the games and make the life they want.
I really don't know how I finished this book. There was no
world building or character development. You get tons of Lyrics inner dialogue
and it's annoying. It also didn't flow well. The ending was a cliffhanger. Overall,
I have no idea why I read the series.

Still determined to take him out but ends up mating him.
Knowing she's a bad bet she sets out to help
him find a better pack. When she finds one will she be able
to walk away?
Through most of this book I hated Eve. She really takes a
hot minute to redeem herself. I loved the pack Eve and Adam end up with. All of
them balance each other and by the end I liked Eve. It fit with all of the
other's written by her in this series. I need the next one now as this ends
cliff hanger esq.
Book 6 Sweet Omegaverse

Lyric is an omega refusing to take an alpha. She wants to
keep touring and making music. She puts together a new band for her tour. She
now has to keep her hands to herself. Will she be able too?
I went in with high hopes and just couldn't like this book.
I couldn't get into it and ended up skimming and skipping big parts of the
story. It was really boring and didn't connect with the first three books at
all. I will be skipping Lana Kole's books.
