They tempt her to want more along with school guidance counselor Colin but there are outside forces that are determined to keep them apart. Can they overcome the challenges?

I wanted to love this book as the tropes in the book are ones I adore but this book just frustrated me. Some of the guys were just dicks to FMC and she had no respect for herself and took what they handed her without any push back. It ends on a cliff which ticked me off. Plus the author spent more time telling me what was happening vs showing it happen. It made for a very long read. I am interested in the plot enough to check out book 2 but no guarantees on anything beyond that.

These leads her to Legion Grey who is supposedly there to negotiate a dowry but the more time they spend together the more time they want to stay together. Legion has secrets that may tear them apart. Will they find way or will the secrets tear them apart?

This was an Instagram find and the ad looks so good I figured it would be worth reading. It was a meh read. The worst was the ending where there is no HEA but ended on a cliff. The MMC is a dick throughout the book and then abandons the FMC after the pivotal scene that is the entire reason I read the stupid book. He just walks away to do what he feels needs to be done vs working out the best approach with her. It’s a good idea but needs so much work and it’s not worth it to me to continue the series.

Where the first two were really good this one fell a little flat. Instead of flowing through a story it felt like there were boxes that needed to be ticked off to complete the story. In addition, it was more explaining what was happening vs living the scenes. Here’s a scene to explain x y and z to conclude the story. Overall, a bit of a disappointment for the conclusion of the story.

She holds a torch for him, but he’s only ever wanted to be friends. Until they are stuck on a tour bus together with band mates, Warrick and Ramsey. They are all dealing with changes, but can they find a way to come together for a happily ever after?

Tinley is a sweetheart who is just trying to find her place since she hasn’t gone into heat yet. The guys Warrick, Ramsey and Colin are so sweet with her and just want her to be happy and succeed in her pursuits. They each have things they are working through but are there to support each other. I loved that Colin and Tinley held a torch for each other but didn’t want to act on it until Warrick and Ramsey came along. The four of them work well together. It was a low stake, low drama but a very good read.

Libby is willing to do almost anything to reach her goals and take care of her daughter. She doesn’t have time for judgmental doctors who have never had to struggle with life.  Jamie has worked hard to become the education director and doesn’t understand how some people can not take things seriously and show up on time until a 4-year kicks him in his shins for being mean to her mom. Finding out how hard Libby works makes him want to protect her but can he leave his judgment behind?

Tate’s books are always heart-retching books, and this was no different from her other books. FMC is working he butt off to make a better life for her kid and MMC is a major dick. He does get better, but it takes way too long, and he ends up hurting FMC and her daughter before he gets it together. If you are looking for a book to make you ugly cry this is a good one to read.

They are dark and dangerous men who don’t feel they are good enough for Zella. They have blood on their hands and have dark tastes and she’s innocent. The more time they spend together the more she wants them even with all their dark edges. Will they be able to keep her safe from the man who kept her or will he get her back?

Modern day retelling of Rapunzel with a why choose twist. It was a dark retelling which makes sense when you consider the original fairy tale. Zel is very Pollyanna esq character while the guys are as dark as a character can be. All of them have issues they are working on. I loved that the guys weren’t sure what to do with Zel and when they realized they all wanted her didn’t think they deserved her. It just worked for me, but I have a love of a well written retelling of a fairytale.
