Nick lived a very fun life until his dad retired and
he had to take over as Santa. He takes this job very seriously and even with
his past Daddy Dom days things are running smoothly at the north pole. The one
person he can’t get on the straight and narrow is Calista. She is an elf that
needs a firm hand to keep her in line.
Short and spicy holiday read. No plot or world
building but for 27 pages it was a good read.

Maddy is trying to make up for her past mistakes and
Lucas just doesn’t believe she’s going to stay clean and not break her brother’s
heart. He’s going to make sure she’s being truthful and staying clean. Will he
ever believe she’s trying to make up for her past errors?
Maddy and Lucas getting their HEA. They have trauma
they’re working through that has to deal with addiction. Lucas is an asshole
through most of this book. Once he gets his head out of his ass, I was happy to
see him getting his HEA. My biggest issue was the last chapter (NO SPOILERS)
where I may have screamed when I read it and immediately went to see when it
comes out to see when a resolution happens. Definitely happy with this one.
Book 19 Gold Hockey

Katarina is asked by her mentor to break in and
steal an artifact. She may be out of the life, but he helped her and she feels
obligated to get him what he needs. What she wasn’t planning on was stumbling
into the owner of the artifact…a dragon, Kalos, who very much doesn’t want to
lose any of his hoard. She has only one choice bargain with him for her life…What
she wasn’t planning on was walking away from the bargain with being pregnant.
Now they must learn to live with each other for the health of the dragon baby.
Will they find a way to their HEA?
First the cover is gorgeous. I heard she does her
own drawing and I just love that. I also loved this story. I blew through it so
fast. Kalos and Katarina were bother interesting characters to learn about.
They were pretty well developed. The one thing I wanted more information on was
Katarina’s history. Things are alluded to about who she is and why she is the
way she is, but it’s never developed. There is a lot of spice and a good bit of
cuddling. The secondary characters were also well done, and I want some of them
to get their own stories, so they get the HEA. I would highly recommend this
book if you like this type of book.

Gemma is ready to get
off Earth and away from her stalker ex-boyfriend. She figured something could
go wrong but wasn’t planning on ending up being trafficked and sold off to
aliens. When she is rescued by an alien race she’s never met before she’s not
sure what she wants to do and if it will include the men who saved her.
This was ok. I felt
like it needed some more world building. I wanted to know more about MMCs
species. You will have to make some assumptions. I also didn't like the thrown
in fourth mate at the end of the book. What I did like was the ship. She was
awesome. I also loved Serrat, Zeek, and Rok. They each brought something
different to Gemma. I am interested in knowing what else is going on and if
more human women are rescued / mated.
Book 2 Shadow Myths

Theo was happy being
a single hockey player without any responsibilities. Eva is the opposite. She
has nothing but responsibilities. She’s smart and talented sports blogger but
when that’s not pulling in enough income, she will do what she needs to get the
cash the family needs. Theo thinks she’s just a pain and doesn’t want anything
to do with her until he sets aside his preconceived beliefs and gets to know
her. When her secret comes out will he still want her?
I thought for sure
this was going to be a 3 start as Theo was a jerk for the first half of the
book but once he gets his head on straight, he's all in. Even when her secret
is revealed he doesn’t do the way I thought he would, which is awesome. I also
loved Eva. She's doing everything she can to be independent but also take care
of her family. Their relationship is a lot of hate hookups, and I loved it.
Worth reading.
Book 7 Breakers Hockey

FMC has been Physically and sexually abused her entire life. If this is a
trigger for you, please skim this book and review.
Things are finally looking up for Blake. She has a father
and brother who adore her and want to keep her safe and happy but trouble is
brewing. Mysterious things are going on with her family and friends. Will they be
discovered before it’s too late?
Where I was fine with book 1 book 2 was just over
the top. I took issue with the fact she’s not really doing therapy but she’s
dating. Everyone brushes off threats which is what causes so many problems. It
just all felt like how much drama can we add in no matter how fantastical it
is. One more in the series but I am just done.
