I loved this book.You felt bad for Vek’Ker because he had been given a crap hand and kept
getting more shoved at him.I loved how
much Mia didn’t care about any of it, she just wanted him to be happy and
secure.The flow of the book was
good.There weren’t any slow points in
the book.The only big ish issue I had
was I really wanted them to find all the humans already.It was a good addition to the overall series.
Nero Krahn is brooding warrior that House of Galen uses as
their hunter and tracker.When they
rescue Winter they are still missing two other women from earth.Nero just wants to keep Winter safe and
secure within the House of Galen Compound.However, she refuses to not be involved in looking for the women even
though she is blind.
This book was more about finding the other women and not the
romance between Nero and Winter.I also
got a little tired of Nero telling Winter what she could and couldn’t do.I get that he was trying to protect her but
if he had worked with her some of the issues would have never been a
problem.The book was also a little to
close in storyline as the last book.Overall, it was an ok book and I am hopeful the next book will be
better.

I enjoyed the story with these two.All of the other books have been the female as
the human and this one is the reverse.It was interesting to see how much all of the humans were in the same
boat but with some slight changes.Saff
was incredibly strong on her own and when she and Blaine got together, she was even
stronger.Relationship wise this one
wasn’t as strong in the storyline as in the other four books.The focus of this book was more on the
slavers and rescuing the other women.Overall,
a good addition to the series.

I was surprised by this book.I love the books with Declan and Shannon but
tend to not enjoy Andrew and Amanda as much.Usually these two irritate me so much that it just isn’t enjoyable, and I
don’t reread them.This book was a
complete surprise and I actually really enjoyed it.There was a lot of growth with Andrew and his
family which was awesome to see him finally growing.One of my issues was the competition between
the brothers and by the last book I was done with it.Grow up already was something I said and in
this book he did.There were still moments
where there was some competing, but it was more good natured and frustrated me
way less.I really liked seeing all of it
progress and the relationships grow and change to include kids.This was a good addition to the series.
Sheriff Sunshine Vicram didn’t run for office but here she
is elected as sheriff of her hometown.Moving her daughter Auri home with her parents she doesn’t expect
anything special for her first day.Instead
of an easy day there is a delivery of muffins that prophesies trouble to
come.A girl has gone missing and she
will need to find her before it’s too late.Secrets will come out.
This book was so incredibly slow.I had the hardest time getting into it and I gave
it way more chance than I normally would have because her other books are so
amazing.I tried listening to the audio
but found myself confused by the POV.The book switches between Sun and Auri and at times I couldn’t figure
out whether we were with Sun or Auri.Even
reading the book there were times I had to reread sections to figure out who
was talking.There was no suspense for
the main plot point of the missing teen.Everyone seemed to be walking around with no clue what was going on and
it never really got better.Who took the
girl was just kind of revealed and who it was should have been a suspect at the
beginning when the parents were interviewed.I also had issues with the subplot of who Auri’s father was.When all was said and done, they didn’t
really wrap anything up in the story.All of it is left dangling for the next book.There are enough hints that you can guess some
of the answers, but it just was so freaking frustrating.
