I waffled with rating this one. The beginning of the book was incredibly slow to get into the story but it does pick up the more you read. It ended up being a really good book once I got several chapters into it. Corie is incredibly strong woman who has so much thrown at her at such a young age. It was interesting to see her come into her own with her pack. Overall, I enjoyed the story but there was a pacing issue.

Beth lost her husband and she’s struggling to take care of her home and her five kids when her friends pay for a cleaning service to come in. What she wasn’t expecting was for the maid to be movie star Bryan Manley. She’s drawn to him but if she lets him in that means her quiet life is gone for good. Is she willing to take the leap?

This was a straightforward romance. Boy meets girl and falls madly in love with her and her kids and wants his happily ever after with them. Not much else to the story than that. I do have one big problem with how soon after the death of her husband this takes place but to each their own on moving on. I did like how much Bryan was into being a good person to the kids and he was just as invested in them as he was with her. Overall, if you are looking for a straight romance this was well written and an enjoyable read.

The rest of the world wants then dead and gone as Cinderella has been nothing but evil. Kira is forced to go to school and her classmates want her dead. She's just trying to survive. She may have allies who love her or are they just using her for a means to an end?

The description of the book makes it sound awesome but it wasn't. I skimmed so much of this book. It had an interesting concept but it just doesn't work. Kira has been abused by her mother her whole life and ends up having this continue at the academy. The men she ends up with all use her to one get Something out of her because of her mom and two physically assault her as punishment. Again all because of her mom. At least by the end of book 1 these people had done nothing to make up for being massive dicks. I'm skipping the rest of the series.
