He just wants his quiet life, fresh mountain air, and his small cabin in the woods. This quiet is interrupted by Sophie Marren. Sophie has been through a breakup, and she’s left with nothing but her boat. She needs funds and to get over her seasickness. The more time they spend together the more they clash, will they find their happy ending?

Where I struggled with book 2, I enjoyed this one much more. I loved Sophie she got the short end of the stick and I wanted her to get her happy ending so badly. I also was looking forward to Jake getting his story and this one just made my day was so well written and you felt connected with both Sophie and Jake and were happy when they got there happily ever after. Well worth struggling through book 2 to get to this one because it was worth every single minute.

Bailey Moore wants to do everything she can in life, skiing in the Rockies is just the latest she wants to do. This is her second chance at life and she is going to do everything before she dies. When she meets Hudson Kincaid she wants him but he has his own issues he’s working through. Will they be able to get past their traumas to find their happy ending?

I like this one but I struggled with it. Both of the protagonists have scars from the past that they’re dealing with and that makes the book interesting. One of our biggest issues it seems like the characters fell in love with each other’s looks and not their personality their looks will eventually go. It’s still very well written still an OK book. If you want to continue the series you are going to need to read this one because this entire series is interconnected.

Second Chance Summer by Jill Shalvis

Lily hasn't been home in years after the death of her sister and then her dad. After a bad break up she's home to help her friend out. She will have to confront her past to move on and maybe find her happy ending.

I really enjoyed this one. Lily has a lot of guilt over her sister's death and feels she can't be with Aiden because her sister wanted him. She had to work through her guilt. Aiden also had to work through his own issues so they could be together. I loved Aiden's mom's meddling to get these two together. This one is right at the top of favorites by Shalvis.
