I've been friends with Artemis since high school, when we bonded over crushing on the same guy. Six years later, we’re roommates in our shiny new post college lives—she's training for the Olympics while I start my pro football career. We’ve both recently had bad break-ups and she says if she’s going to get back out there, she needs dating lessons. Naturally, she asks me—her completely platonic roommate—to teach her.

We practice eye contact. Hand holding. Cuddling during movies. Because that's what best friends do, right? Practice intimacy? For science?

She thinks I'm being helpful. I think I'm losing my mind.

Meanwhile, I'm out here sabotaging her dates, getting jealous of my own teammates, and having heart-to-hearts with our pet goats about my feelings while she's literally in the next room.

I wanted to love this book as I was looking forward to it since meeting the FMC in the last book. I just didn’t like it. I have never wanted to skip scenes in other books by Award but there were times when I just wanted it to move on already. There was less sexy time in this book then other books and the bi relationships both main characters was kind of brushed aside. I loved the narrators and will still pick up the next book but not my favorite book.

This was such a good story. It had serious parts but also so much humor. It is built on the previous 4 books but does hold up as a stand alone. I loved how nice Tempest’s family was with Flynn….Well most of her family.

Kelsey Best is America's pop sweetheart and anyone who says they don't like her music is a liar and needs to be punched in the nads. And I'll do it too, because I'm the guy the NFL dubbed the meanest player in the league. Great for my career on the field, not so much for my reputation off it.

So I'm shocked as hell when Kelsey's team sends my agent a wild idea – they want a showmance between us. She's looking to dodge the media frenzy after her breakup with Hollywood's latest heartthrob, and I apparently fit the bill as her perfect distraction. My agent is convinced this fake dating stunt is the key to fixing my image. The whole world is going to hate me when we fake break up. And what happens when I fall for her? She's going to create a blank space in my heart, and I don't think I'm going to be able to shake it off.

Loved loved loved this book. Kelsey was such a sweet heart and her dog was so freaking cute in this book. I loved that Declan was all in from the very beginning and that his sister helped him get the girl. The two balanced each other out and made for a quick and easy read.

Definitely worth listening too as the narrators do an amazing job bringing the story out. I read the book first and then listened later and I would 100% recommend listening to the book. Stella Hunter and Jacob Morgan bring these characters to life and make the listen so enjoyable. I loved it so much.

Always the nerdy girl, never the girlfriend~ Until her cocky best friend and his *ahem* rooster take charge.

Look, I've had it bad for the girl with all the curves next door forever. She turned me down in high school and since I'm not a total douchecanoe, I lusted after her all by myself in my shower, and we stayed just friends for years. Now she's the adorkable librarian next door and I'm the star quarterback of the best pro football team in the league. So when she asks me to be her fake date to her all-girls school reunion I am totally down to show her off to the mean girls who bullied her back then so they can see just how incredible she is.

I'll be the best boyfriend they've ever seen. The best fake boyfriend that is.

Until I find out from her slightly-stalkery classmates that she still has her v-card. I don't see how that is even possible. Not with how sexy and sweet she is. Could it be because she knows she belongs with me?

 

Chris and Trixie were amazing. On the one hand Trixie was very strong woman but when she’s confronted by mean girls from high school, she reverts to how she was then. Chris was a sweetheart who never wanted to push her for more because he loved her so much that he would rather have her only as a friend even though he wanted more. The title made me laugh and that humor is also throughout the book. Plus, some super smexy time between them. When they finally realized they are all in with each other it was the best. Can’t wait to pick up book two.
