Jade is now aware of magic and what is going on. She needs a crash course in her magic so she can help her guys but with evil nipping at their heals will they be able to teach her what she needs to know?

This one started right where the last one ended. It was a lot of relationship building book. Jade is getting to know all of the guys and creating bonds with them. Makes for a very spicy read but not a good story mover. I did love seeing Jade coming into her magic, but I wished we had more movement in the story. It ended on a cliff again but worth reading.

The peace summit is about to take place when Ember finds two of her fated mates. They are enemy dragons and want nothing to do with each other. Can she find a way to keep the peace and find her happily ever after when outside forces don’t want that to happen?

This starts right where the last ended. I wanted to like it more, but it dragged on. Plus, it’s the same issue of fighting amongst her men over politics with no real movement in the story. The book ends on a cliff again. I know where the plot is going to go and I am still interested in seeing where this is going. But I would wait until they are out to pick them up.

Finally, the conclusion for Wren. This one started right where the last ended and couldn’t wait to dig into it. Everything wraps up nicely with hints of future books and things to come. Loved how Talen makes things up with FMC. He sacrificed so much for her, and it was worth it. One question I still have for him, but it is a major spoiler but left me wondering if things for him go back to normal. The other guys mess up in this one that pisses off FMC, but they make it up to her. 100% can’t wait for future books.

Francesca was just supposed to be another case for Lex. The problem is she is able to get under his skin and he wants her to be innocent. Will he fix what he broke when he arrested her or will he lose her forever?

You do need to have read previous books to understand this one. It’s been a hot minute since I had read all of them and was a bit confused. There was a also a pacing issue in this book. Some parts felt a little slow and other parts were rushed. I loved Francesca and Lex and was happy to see their relationship play out. Also loved the teaser for the next book.

Vex let down her guard at the wrong time and has been forced into a bond she doesn’t want. Her scent match pack doesn’t want an omega and can’t know she’s there to be used against them. She’s just the beta under contract but the longer she’s there the more she gets under their skin and makes them want more. They’re still massive assholes who don’t see the value in her until it is too late.

I waffled with this one. The first half of the book was so long because of the flashbacks to how she ended up where she was. It slowed the book down which made it seem longer than it was. It didn’t really add anything to the overall plot at all. Once those ended about halfway through the book I enjoyed the writing and the chapter headings got me laughing so hard. I did love how the book ended so much. It did end up on a cliffhanger ending. I saw the end coming and can’t wait for part 2 which should be out in November.
