Maddie has loved Elijah from afar for years. Helped him through the loss of his girlfriend. Now she is ready to move on and get more out of life. She’s ready to accept another job to grow more. That is until the Wilder Brothers offer her a new position with their business and Elijah has finally shown he is interested in more with her. Will she stay or will she accept a different direction?

I would have given this a 4 star if not for how the drama in the book was handled. Maddie was too forgiving of Elijah. His brothers do call him out for his idiocy and get him into much needed therapy. He basically shows up with his hat in his hands and was all I am so sorry excuse because of his trauma. All was forgiven at this point. I feel like this would have been better towards the middle of the book and have him work towards forgiveness instead of instant forgiveness. The writing was good and it is worth reading but I was just frustrated.

Eli met and danced one dance with his dream woman Alexis. Then her boyfriend proposed and he figured it wasn't meant to be. Several years later he and his brothers have their hotel up and running and want to offer a bridal option. The family decides on offering the job to Alexis. Eli still wants her but she’s gun shy. When it looks like history is repeating itself with her ex will they get their HEA?

This was an ok book. The brothers with all the same sounding name made it difficult to remember who everyone was and their roles in the book. Alexis frustrated me a lot. She was so hot and cold and ready to throw Eli out at the first issue between them. The issue was also ridiculous. He came upon her being assaulted by her ex-husband and he stepped in to stop it. Ex-husband decks him first and Eli puts him down. Somehow this was an issue for her, and it nearly broke them up. I also didn’t understand the issues with the other family and why they continued to let them on the property. Send them a no trespass order and keep them away. I assume they are going to end up having a sister for one of the guys to end up with, but it just seemed weird and out of place. Overall, it was a meh. The next one comes out this fall, but I am leaning away from reading it.
