Except my life as a marine biologist takes a slippery turn when I mistake a cthulhu for an octopus, only to find him seated across from me on date night.

Waiting until I succumb to his charm.

This was a very cute read but felt very rushed. The secy time was different and interesting. The relationship was very quick. I liked the writing enough to try another book by her.
