Roman is trying to survive raising his son. Maddie
is a fixer, and she wants to fix everything. When she sees Roman and his son fighting,
she’s determined to help them. When feelings develop, between Roman and Maddie
will she be able to move past her trauma to get her HEA?
It could be because I haven’t read the series in a while,
but I don’t remember the details leading to Roman and Maddie’s HEA. This one
wasn’t one of my favorites. Felt the relationship was too rushed with Maddie’s
issues and wrapped up too pat. Without spoilers I also didn’t get the closure I
wanted with the other big plot. Overall, it was an ok read, just not my
favorite.
