Grave Signs by Ivy Asher and Raven Kennedy

Grave Signs (Hellgate Guardians Book 4) by [Ivy Asher, Raven Kennedy]

5 Stars

Sable has spent her entire life in and out of mental hospitals because she sees demons everywhere.  When she is about to be transferred to another institution, she is kidnapped by Morax.  He hopes to use her to get all three sisters and use them to complete his worlds domination.  What he doesn’t factor in is the fact she can resist his compulsions.  She also finds her mates who help her with her defenses.  The three sisters and their mates will need to work together to take Morax out and restore balance to the gates into hell.

This was an amazing conclusion to the series.  It tied up all the loose ends as well as gave everyone (well most everyone) the happy ending they had earned.  It was interesting to see how they overcame some of the problems the bad guy put out there.  I also really liked Lucifer.  He had a plan and the bad guy played into his hand which allowed the ladies to come into their all.  I will definitely be checking out other books by these two authors.

Grave Decision by Ivy Asher and Raven Kennedy

Grave Decisions (Hellgate Guardians Book 3) by [Ivy Asher, Raven Kennedy]

3.5 Stars

Medley Bell didn’t know she was a demon until she met some demons delivering a package too them.  Alder and Flint want Medley and are willing to share to get her.  Medley was fired from her package delivery position so when they offer her a job she begrudgingly excepts.  When she finds out all the information she still all in.  They will have to find away to keep her safe from Morax.

I really liked the first two books.  This one wasn’t as good as they were.  I found myself skimming more to get to the end and move on to the next book.  There was a little too much overlap between the timeline in this book and the last book and as I just read book 2 it was a bit frustrating.  It was still a good book but go into it know there is overlap.  Plus the book ends in a cliffhanger into the fourth book.  Can’t wait to see how the fourth book with the third sister works out.

Grave Consequences by Ivy Asher and Raven Kennedy

Grave Consequences (Hellgate Guardians Book 2) by [Ivy Asher, Raven Kennedy]

4 Stars

This book starts up right where we left off in the last book.  Delta has woken up in Hell.  She’s not sure if Jerif, Echo, Crux, or Iceman are alive, and she’s terrified at what is going to happen.  What she gets is her bio dad is a bit of a prat who has decided to dictate what she will be doing with her life as well as try to figure out who the mom is.  Delta finds her men alive and well and thumbs her nose at her dad and heads back to earth to figure out why there is a surge of demon’s trying to get through the gate.  Will discovering who her mom is help solve some of the mystery?

I liked this one way more than the last one.  It also ends in a mini cliff hanger, but it was one I could live with.  However, I will be waiting until book 4 comes out to read book 3 as it looks like these two will go together like 1 and 2.  There was a whole lot more spicy in this book than the last one.  Delta wasn’t as whiney either.  Well other than when her dad pops in while she’s getting it on with one of the guys.  It was interesting to see her parents interact and the justification her mother had for leaving her where she was.  I like where this story is going and I will check out book 3 on July 20th when book 4 comes out.

Grave Mistakes by Ivy Asher and Raven Kennedy

Grave Mistakes (Hellgate Guardians Book 1) by [Ivy Asher, Raven Kennedy]

3.5 Stars

Delta’s life is a mess.  She’s lost her parents and her awesome boss.  She’s trying to remodel her parents house while dealing with a crappy boss.  She sees an ad for a security guard paying big bucks and she’s all in.  She thought it was a little weird they were willing to pay that much for a night guard, but she needed the money and signed on the dotted line.  Delta may have wanted to read the small print to find out she was guarding the gates to hell, but it is too late now. She will need to learn how to work with Crux, Jerif, Echo, and Iceman to keep the worst of the worst off of earth.

I liked this story.  It was well written.  I had a couple issues with Delta.  She was whiney through the majority of the book.  I get she had a lot thrown at her but at some point, stop whining about it and step up and do.  It was interesting to see her interactions with each of the guys.  There are some very spicy scenes with each of them.  The other reason it isn’t rated higher is because the ending is a cliffhanger ending and goes into book 2.  Luckily it was already out so I downloaded it and read it (review up tomorrow) but this book literally ends with Delta not knowing if her guys have survived.
