Wilder Brothers Collections by Carrie Ann Ryan

4 Stars

When the Wilder brothers return home after leaving the military and the lives they fought to build, they’ll have to start from scratch and create roots when they had none before. They’re moving to a new state, a new town, and with a new set of problems they never expected. Falling in love along the way isn’t in the cards, but the Wilder brothers should know by now—you don’t choose your fate, fate chooses you.

This set includes:

A Night for Us

One Way Back to Me

Always the One for Me

I loved these stories will draw you in and deal out trauma and love. Each brother has their love interest that they have to win over and get through some trauma. Some of them have their own trauma they have to work on. I loved listening to them and can't wait to listen to the rest of the books.

Always the One by Carrie Ann Ryan

3 Stars

It took two days for me to know Kendall was the one for me.

And it took two years for me to realize I had to leave in order to protect her.

When I walked away, I told myself it was for the best. But now we work together, and every time we’re in the same room, we end up fighting. If we didn’t, we’d end up naked. Or worse–spilling heartbreaking secrets.

If she knew the truth, she’d either walk away for good or convince me to take a second chance. The first thing would break me, and the second would break her. I can’t let either of those things happen…

I loved the narrators. They did an amazing job bringing this story to life. I struggled with the story a lot. The fighting between the couple was a lot and its was all choosing not to be honest with each other. Overall, I liked it but not my favorite

Fallen Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan

4 Stars

Adrienne Montgomery has two major rules in life:

Never let them see you cry.

And never fall for her best friend.

On opening day of her family tattoo shop, she's already failed both of those.

Mace Knight takes pride in two things: his art and his daughter.

He knows he’s taking a risk by starting over in a new shop with the Montgomery's, but the stakes are even higher when he finally gives into the temptation that is his best friend.

But the world doesn't stop turning the moment he takes Adrienne into his arm—and his bed. Not only is someone furious about the new business in their "pristine" neighborhood, they're ready to resort to violence to get the Montgomery's to leave.

I enjoyed this audiobook. The drama was a bit over the top but I loved listening too it. I loved Adrienne and Mage together. They balanced each other out. The flow of the story was spot on what you would want in a book.

This book frustrated me from beginning to end. Should Evan have been more open with Kendall…yes but how does she not get the trauma when she knew he lost his two best friends. The arguing just frustrated me. I did love the narrators. They did an excellent job bringing the characters to life.
