Mitexi had it all but an omega but there’s no rush as they have time. That is until the worst happens, and he loses everyone. Everyone expects him to find a new pack to connect with, but he just can’t. There will never be others like those men he’s lost. Without a pack he has to take another job. This new job is protector of an omega…who would have been his pack’s scent match. He wasn’t expecting that. Can he move beyond his grief to find a new HEA?

This book was good but I felt it wasn’t complete. Panda and Mitexi have been through a lot before they meet which led them to having trauma to work through. If you’ve liked the other poisonverse books you will probably enjoy this one as it was pretty well written. I just wanted more.

Hybrid Reject by Romy Lockhart

Her new life gets off to a rocky start when she’s stalked by a dangerous shifter she managed to attract before she left her old pack. Rescued by an Alpha, she soon finds out Wolf Creek is much more accepting of hybrids.

Even so, she doesn’t expect to find another true mate there, never mind three of them. She can’t deny her attraction to them, but she’s afraid to have her heart broken all over again.

Can she let go of the past, or will it come back to haunt her?

This was a pretty solid rejected mate story. I liked seeing Amanda get her HEA. I wanted more with the guy who rejected her. He’s kind of brushed aside for her mates. I also wanted more world building and character development. Overall, it felt unfinished so I am curious if there will be more in future books.

Ember thought she had her forever until he disappeared. Ending up in custody not expecting to ever get out she gets comfort from where she can. When they put her up for auction, she was not anticipating her the mate who left her to get her. There’s more at play then she realizes but she’s not sure she can trust anyone let alone the man who already took another omega but the men just might prove her wrong.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The ad I saw described it differently than the actual book, so I had expectations that were not met. That is probably why its rating is so low. It was fine omegaverse book. Nothing really happens in the book. Issues are brought up with the world at large and nothing seems to be resolved. The pack comes together and that is it. I also didn’t like most of the pack which made it harder to read. Meh skipping.

Someone wants her to be denied which will outcast her and she will be forbidden from entering another agreement and the city. The pack has all the options available, but she doesn’t. No matter what they do to her she has to stick it out, so she’s not denied. Will the pack find a way to claim her, or will she be denied?

I loved this book so much. It is so much emotional damage but in the best way possible. I would not recommend reading this if book 2 isn’t out as it ends on a massive cliffhanger ending that made me so incredibly angry. Like through the entire book I was saying the guys better figure out the best way to fix this because they were massive assholes to her. They never get the chance and that will probably be book two. I very much finished it and wanted to reread it to find things I missed in the first read through. I’ve had a string of 2 star books and this one just hit all the notes for me and I absolutely loved it. Definitely pick it up and read…maybe read it after book 2 is out.

She has been outcast from the moment she arrived even though she works with her adopted mom providing medicinal care. When it is discovered she is fated mates with the alpha’s son, he rejects her. She thinks all is lost until she enters Fate Hollow Academy where she discovers she doesn’t have just one fated but 7 other ones. How will this work?

This was good. The steamy parts were not as descriptive as other books in this genre are. That aside the plot was interesting and I liked all of Wren’s mates bar her rejected one. It was interesting to see her try and do away with the bond since it was causing her pain. It does end in a cliffhanger ending and I am curious to see how it all plays out.

When Dannie rejects the alpha’s son she’s cast out of her pack. She refuses to be mated to the man who has bullied her throughout her life. She turns to the Dark Vampire King of Blood and Beryl and agrees to marry him. She will become his fake mate. The more time they spend together is it really a fake mating? When trouble comes their way will they be able to weather the storm?

This was a pretty good read. There were a couple issues of communication between the main characters that led to ALL the problems. It got old very quickly. I did like them and they eventually figure out what they need to do but it took way too long. I liked how things worked out and it is a complete story that was well written with an interesting world. This book is in a shared world with other authors. It stands by itself but I am interested in the world enough to check out the other books.
