Brewing Up Christmas by Emily Campbell

3 Stars

Eli, Bayshore’s charming bartender and notorious ladies’ man, has always shrugged off the holiday spirit. But when a mysterious woman strolls into his brewery, everything changes. What starts as a whirlwind night of passion quickly transforms into something far more magical when Eli finds himself at the center of a Christmas mission he never asked for.

Angelina isn’t just passing through—she’s Santa’s Chief Spirit Officer, tasked with restoring the town’s dwindling Christmas cheer. And now, she’s enlisted Eli to help her. With pointed ears and a magical Christmas spirit meter tracking his every move, Eli must decorate, spread joy, and reluctantly embrace the season if he ever wants to return to his old self.

As they deck the halls of Bayshore, sparks fly between Eli and Angelina, blending holiday cheer with undeniable attraction. But with each magical encounter, Eli finds himself questioning whether getting back to normal is really what he wants—or if Angelina has given him something far better than any gift under the tree.

The description said sparks fly between Eli and Angelina, but I didn’t see it. I never felt a connection between them. Overall, it was a meh book about Christmas spirit. It was a short story and might have been better if it was longer as there could have been better development of the story and the characters.

Good Elf Gone Wrong by Alina Jacobs

3 Stars

Last Christmas Gracie was expecting to get married to her fiancé until she caught him under the Christmas tree with her sister. This Christmas her sister is planning on marrying her ex-fiancé. All she wants is to show up with someone who will ruin the day for her ex and sister. She meets Hudson on the bus on her way home. He has his own reason for helping her get her revenge. When all secrets are revealed, will they find their HEA?

Gracie is such a pushover throughout this book. Everyone is a dick to her, and she takes it. She gets screwed over by people who should support her, but she eventually gets her best by the end. Hudson is a dick and does a couple of things to make up for the lies but not enough for me. Granny Murray was the best in the entire book. Worth reading but you definitely need the short story to feel like there is a complete book.

All I Wank for Christmas by Tori Ross

4 Stars

Holly assumed she would be working as an accountant until she’s let go. Needing funds to support her mom and sister she takes a job at the local rub and tug massage parlor. While working there she meets Nicholas. He has a lot of stress and thinks it is a massage parlor but is happy with what he gets. After he’s left, he can’t get Holly out of his head, so he picks her up and asks her for a favor. Can she please help him deliver all the presents for Christmas. When she agrees they are in for a shenanigan filled Christmas eve but will they find their forever?

This book was super funny, spicy, and everything nice. If you are looking for Christmas erotica with a story, give this one a chance. Would love to see more with these two and more in this world.

Santa Tried by Indie Sparks

3 Stars

Nick lived a very fun life until his dad retired and he had to take over as Santa. He takes this job very seriously and even with his past Daddy Dom days things are running smoothly at the north pole. The one person he can’t get on the straight and narrow is Calista. She is an elf that needs a firm hand to keep her in line.

Short and spicy holiday read. No plot or world building but for 27 pages it was a good read.
